Don’t Worry

I love spending time with God. He truly refreshes my soul. The peace and joy that He gives is something that I can’t fully explain.

Recently during my time in His Word, I reread some verses that I’ve read many times before but they had even more meaning to them. Since I struggle with worrying often, these verses encouraged me. I hope they can encourage you as well. 🙂

Phillipians 4:6-7
“Don’t worry about ANYTHING; instead, PRAY about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.”

Luke 12:25
“Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life?”

John 14:27
“I am leaving you with a gift-peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”

Worry and fear are too draining. All the “what ifs” are not worth it. I’m learning to just take a deep breath and trust that God is taking care of everything, even the tiny details. He knows exactly what He’s doing. He loves me and He loves you too. ❤

  1. Juliana, really enjoyed your post. Almost feel as though you were thinking of me when you wrote it. Worrying is something I often struggle with. Reminding myself that I am not in control but that God is has been my way of dealing with the worry that can creep into situations I fin myself in.

Looking forward to your future posts!

For me this is perfect timing with what is going on with family. God is such a loving God and knows how to give us exactly what we need.
